DESCRIPTION:Merseyside has long history in tide prediction and two working historical mechanical tide prediction machines are housed a short walk from DoES at the National Oceanography Centre. Researchers from the Centre are interested in making a version of these machines for educational outreach\, using the tools at DoES at our maker nights. To help us help them make new machines they have arranged a visit to see the historical machines in action.\n\nSpace is limited so it would be helpful if you could book a spot for the event. \n\n\n\n

Tom Woodroof introduces Local Loop Merseyside as a bridge into the Credit Commons for the city region's small businesses\, offering immediate financial wins coupled with feedback loops towards increasing collaboration and localisation.\n\nTom Woodroof fell down the money and commons rabbit hole after reading about mutual credit on Lowimpact.org. He is a co-founder of Mutual Credit Services and Local Loop Merseyside. He also convenes the Circular Trade Analytics forum.
